Summer 2010 Great Adventure At the August chapter meeting, a 7-10 day ride was proposed for June 2010. On Nov. 22, eight members set the dates and the route. A new web page has been created just for this ride . If you're interested in going, please e-mail DrD at webmaster@ophog.org.
Marathon Man Rick Kirtley was the first rider in the entire state to visit all 31 Harley Davidson Dealers in the Florida H-D Tour and have his passport stamped, earning him an additional 31 chances in the grand prize drawing featuring a trip to Milwaukee and personalized tours of the factory and the new museum.
Rick said this did not constitute a pre-ride for a chapter ride. Way to go Rick!
OPHOG meets at the Fleet Reserve at 5391 Collins Road the third Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. for coffee and camaraderie with a short business meeting beginning at 9:30 a.m. Rides or other events generally follow each meeting. OPHOG promotes safe riding, encourages fun with other Harley-Davidson enthusiasts and supports local charities and programs that focus on children and service men and women. We invite Harley-Davidson owners in Orange Park, Middleburg, Green Cove Springs, Palatka and throughout the surrounding area to join us as we build our new chapter. |
